Unexpected Courts
'Let’s Colour transforms underused urban locations into sport courts, just by adding a splash of paint. The program was launched in the famous Santa Marta favela in Rio de Janeiro, and soon surfaced across the city, where paint was used to create courts for different sports: basketball, table tennis, athletic sprint, volleyball, hockey…
Unexpected Courts will expand beyond Brazil, helping to make more cities and communities around the world fun and livable.
We joined forces with MasterPeace to inspire, energize and humanize cities around the world. The walls that were once symbols of separation became tools to inspire and connect.
